Replacing front strut upper bearing

Is it possible to replace the front strut upper bearing without dismantling everything?

In other words, if i compress the spring(with compressor's) under the arch, and remove the top nuts, with the suspension hanging down, is there enough room to access the bearing, that said, even if i could get to it, would i actually be able to remove it anyway?

Yes you will.
A couple of tips:
Before you lower the strut, release the damper nut.
Remove the arb droplink and undo the compression rod to get more movement out of the lower arm.
With shortened springs you can get the top of the strut out from under the arch.
Even with full length compressed springs you'll be able to get your hand in and take the isolator off and get the bearing out.

Is the bearing a loose fit then, no need for a puller?
