Rear Disc caliper clearance

I’m currently fitting a rear disc conversion as shown in the attached image using 200sx callipers.
Everything fits the hub fine, but the shortened suspension on the BC coilovers (about 50mm drop) is moving the hub upwards and the disc caliper and handbrake cable support arm into contact with the bracket that holds the brake line hose fitting (top left in the photo). The photo attached is off the internet, my hub unit is sitting at least 50mm higher than this.
Has anyone else had similar issues with discs and lowered suspension? I can’t find anyone with similar issues on the net and no talk of chopping this bracket off.

Had the same thing on my last Z. I drilled the spot welds out on the bracket and moved it,

On the rear disc conversion I have (DJ) the caliper is in front of the hub not behind. Can you swap the brackets from L to R ?

Rob, the caliper is in front of the hub on mine, probably at about 2pm.
How much suspension drop are u running?

Thanks Gary, glad I’m not the only one. I’ll have a look at that this evening.

Ive had another look at it this evening now I’m happy that I’ve not got something very wrong. I’ve reshaped the original 200sx cable arm and adjusted the bracket slightly on the car. It’s given me about 20mm clearance now throughout all suspension travel.

I’m not sure if the 300zx has the same bolt spacing a or offsets and a 200sx or maxima caliper, so not sure I can help. I think my brackets were from ZStore.
Is there a handbrake on the 300zx caliper?
