Looking forward to seeing your results, was the turbo used for previous car that made 516hp smaller or bigger than your current turbo?
Final power results are ..... 592.8hp @ 7400rpm /QUOTE]
That will be enough then Wyn !!!!

Bloody hell Wyn that's mental !
Look forward to seeing the Graph.
Looking forward to seeing it run. Surely that's enough to see a 10. If you take it to santa pod on Sunday you should be able to get it weighed.
Big turbo coming on song properly, once they start to build proper boost it just takes off.How come it gains 200bhp in 500rpm? Could you level the curve up below 4500rpm?
That's crazy power Wyn you nuttter. I was hoping for 550hp with mine and was thinking that would be too much.
500HP on low boost is a lot, will be a handful even with that sometimes, I was thinking 400hp on low boost would be good for me.
You must be able to get a 10 second run with that power after some practice.

Not so much, its always going to be there, you should how the power looks on some bigger turbo setups, definitely not suited a lightweight RWD. That's one of the reason I stayed twin turbo for my setup. I drove a 600hp EVO 7, it was a beast on boost but until 3500 it had nothing and then it came in violently, not really that much fun on the road.I guess but having a more linear curve would make it easier to drive and ultimately faster also. I would have thought you can tweak cam timing/ignition to give it more lower down?
Yes you can, You can set it up to run low boost normally and switch to high boost using a switch on the dash, this is what I am doing, but you can also have a multi position knob setup with different levels of boost. Wyn mentioned two stage boost, not sure if he is using a switch or if he has it setup with two boost levels on the one map.Showing my ignorance of Turbo controls here:
Can you alter the boost via a 'knob' inside the car (that's no reference to you Wyn ) ?
If so that would be a great way of getting the most effective power for the conditions.
With nearly 600hp how could you not be, should be enough for good unless you are a complete nutter?Am happy as it is for now
Whilst speaking to the guy who mapped it yesterday I was told I could have the boost come in earlier if I fitted a smaller exhaust housing to the turbo
But at the expensive of its top end power. tbh am happy as it is for now as it makes power all the way till past 7k which was only set to stop the std cam lifters "pumping up"
Again I was told it could make more power if I was to change the std hydraulic lifters to solid lifters but that's a head off job n diffo cams again!
Am happy as it is for now
