Ah you see thats where your wrong sir, these are not made from the steel of mortals, these are so light that they MUST be bolted to a car to stop then floating back to the heavens, whence they came.

That looks VERY rare indeed.
Is that "magic fairy dust" I see sprinkled on the cover??
I believe thats what makes engines quick. Bit like them Samyry ones;)
And that head??? hmmm. Is that made from unobtanium too cos I cant see any Nissan casting Number on it???

I made one out of "whatwasavailablium" during the build up of my Samyry and the latest owner could advise if it is still fitted 20 years on?

Oh, bespoke Skidden (patent pending) parts !

Rocker cover looks like some old Vauxhall Royale with a Christmas cracker table-name plate stuck on it.

Mr Throttletons' c/f rocker covers are even lighter..............

Do you know what Pete.....I think I do

I hope you don't mind me asking, that dizzy does look very rare, when mounted on the inner wing, what drives it, is it driven by the right front wheel? or is there a drive belt going to the pulley that i can't see.

The engine is managed by an Emerald system. The signal is taken from an external pickup mounted on the front of the crank.
so as you have already observed it doesnt has a dizzy in the conventional sense.
Im sure the Master will be along later to expand on this if so you wish.
I am merely his lackey and not worthy;)

Feel free to hijack the thread for whatever purpose.
Its original purpose has been served.
It was only put up to annoy people and possibly mislead or confuse them.:D
Seems to have worked.;)

BTW... Does anyone really want to buy one on the blanking plates.

Petes said most of it:thumbs: (not sure about the master and lacky bit though:eek:)

The engine is an all steel 3.0 litre (forged rods, slipper pistons and a forged steel crank)
Running on fuel injected individual Jenvey throttle bodies.

As Pete mentioned both spark, fuel (and cooling) is controlled by an Emerald ECU.

Head is by a company called "CNC Heads" and is a computer mapped, designed and machined piece so tolerances are down to a few microns and flow is optimised through the ports.

Compression is around 12:1, rev limiter set to 8K.

But the car is much more than just the engine, everything else is built and designed to match, cooling system, exhaust system, gearbox, diff, suspension, brakes, seats, drive shafts etc all custom, so its quick.....supercar type quick.

Past couple of years have been frustrating with various things getting in the way of driving it, but this year hopefully we will get out a little more and pay back a few old debts.

As always said, a car is like a human body - it all has to work togther - !

You owe me - remember Castle Coombe when we didn't run together......get yer butt over here for some alternatives to straight lines mate.:)

..er.....I think post #32 was a piss take delivered in keeping with this whole thread.

Might have been......
Who cares ....it was an ideal opportuninty to indulge in some good old fashioned post whoring about Skiddells car.
