power steering

A 240 is light enough without p/s, it's the 260 that's the "pig".

Rollocks. Add wider wheels and tyres, lower it and try again. And when my 260 2+2 is finished, I'll weigh it on the same weighbridge where I weighed my 240 and we'll see the difference - you'll be suprised !

Sean I'm speaking from experience here with my fu - - ed up shoulder joints, I don't mind the 240, but having owned 260 2+2's I now know that a 260 is not for me now, I can't be any fairer than that.:driving:

Fairy nuff but please word your comments so as not to confuse others - that's YOUR experience and not necessarily the cars' characteristic in general - do you see MY point ? There might only be less than 100kgs between the 240 and 2+2 !

Yes I can see your point & I wouldn't dream of buying a car now without p/s but my 240 is just acceptable as a part time fun car.
