I was winning in 1st and 2nd gear, then I went to 5th and he went past me

13.2 is good. It's harder than you think isn't it to get a good time?

When I went I knackered my gearbox - did the reverse in going from 3rd to reverse!

I can't believe some of the road-tester's times for standard cars. 15.8 for a standard 240Z in 1971! 15.8 is quick.

There's definitely a lot of technique involved, and the more power, the harder it is to get right (without breaking anything).
3rd to reverse would be painful!

Wish I could of made it but just too much on Saturday. I'm looking forward to getting the blue zed down the strip again. I found it to be very hard to get consistent launches and agree that what felt like a fast run turned out to be slow. Its very hard to tell the difference.
