pink hat challenge

After a shortened afternoons competition due to an EVO going into self destruct mode after the finish line, the Pink hat has taken up its winter residence in the datsun cabinet where it rightfully belongs with the score standing at 5 nil to me.

The bluff and bluster from the TVR camp about beating me and finding at least a second at this meeting was more blustery than the howling gales that have struck the country in recent times. While I was wringing the Z's neck to try to catch the 370bhp 911rs in the hands of a very quick driver:bow::bow::bow: it was never going to happen but it did keep me focused and in the 35 second bracket again, with the TVR only managing to hit the mid 36 seconds. Even the 8 runs (well 7 really cos he spun on one of them) at the drive school on tuesday could not help steve find the elusive time to join in the 35 second battle but then as he says it is a burble down the pub on a sunday lunchtime car.:cheers:

Looking forward to the next excuse xxxxxxxxxxxxx

well done Ben. never doubted you fior a min ute. If you would like to invite Bluegriff and his tribe to Zed Fest we'd be pleased to welcome them and not extract too much wee-wee.

Is it just the power that the 911 RS is leading on or does the car have other advantages over the 240? What do you think it will take to take on the mighty 911?

More power and then some more power and then some more power followed by a big dose of bravado cos he can drive

Good work Ben, still sorting the men from the boys.

everything I does I does for you

Simon Brown in his 300 got into the 38's on sunday and is showing promise for 37's which will put some focus onto the TVR as well because Simon is running on Steves old Hoosier slicks.
