Quick heads up: if anyone has a weekend pass and decides to go on Sunday only, please can they hand their ticket/car pass off to me before leaving on Sunday?

Dave Holland is able to come now on Monday but is too late to get a club pass of his own, so I’d like to try and help him out if an unused Monday pass ends up knocking around.

Some more pics.
Note the cheeky little Volvo that was granted special permission to park up on the end today - belongs to Rob Ridley ex-of this parish.
A pretty little car but missing a couple of cylinders :EXTRAlol:

Is the green 240 Steve Kemp's?

Yep.

The metallic burgundy R reg car parked next to mine in my third photo is a non-club member's 280Z. Christian and I flagged him down and had him join the stand - the more the merrier! It was a nice car he'd imported; he'd had it resprayed in the original colour, backdated the bumpers and dumped the fuel injection for earlier SUs.

Full credit to John Hall for racing his 260Z. What was the 70s Roadsports race like guys?

Charles Barter finished 2nd in his 240Z behind a Lotus Europa.
The 260Z and a French registered YB110 fastback (sky blue car in Richie P photo above) ran closely throughout in the midfield with YB110 winning out.
Good race with quite a few of the front runners (E Type, Morgan, Elan and Europas) retiring with mechanical issues or falling over themselves.

I thought it read L/6, i.e. 2.4. Anyway it's obviously MoT exempt - no wipers!
Yep, L6, 146ci i.e 2.4.

The lad that owns it brought it to Tatton Park on our stand a couple of years back, freshly imported and still on steelies at the time. It's evolved since then as a rolling resto - has BC coilovers, those super nice ££££ SSR Mk2 wheels, Cobra GT3 historic seats, etc. It's gradually getting better from the inside out. Ultimately it will be getting a proper respray too. In the meantime, it's being ratty.

Fair enough! I suppose 146ci should have rung a bell [emoji4] any idea why it's painted on the side of the wing?
