Official Japfest 2009 thread

Thanks Marco for a great day ! great fun mixing 300s with us older ZEDS Iam not sure when I lapped all those 300s Ha Ha but its 40th birthday present should be to let us old gits overtake !!! shame that Bloody EVO kept slowing us down !!!

Great Day I vote that 370 is Fantastic so the legend lives On and On and what a great team effort for everyone both clubs one STAND

What a great show, made all the better by Big Sam! I really enjoy Japfest- It's a ridiculosly long way to travel and expensive, but well worthwhile!

My track session was aweome- I managed to pass 8 and got overtaken by two (Mr Gaskin! and that bloody Evo!)

Great to see everybody again. My £52 engine, did me proud- if not a bit smokey!

I'd love to see more pics and videos (I forgot my camera), so post then up!

I had an awesome day and was nice to meet some peeps (only Matt with the Z31 and another guy with an orange 240Z, Every time I went back to the stand you were all out on track lol)

Really good turn out with some stunning cars and the weather held off nicely too!

Ill post up pics later!!

Thanks for allowing me to join inthe fun at short notice

Somebody help!!! Who was the official photographer there? They usually have good pictures of track sessions

It looked like you guys had a good day out, Which brings back good memories of the last japfest I went to years ago, It also rained on that day to.

It's events like this that make me miss being down south, Castle combe used to be one on my local tracks. Now all I have to look forward to is knock hill which is about a 160 miles from me.

Well done to all those that made it looked like a great day was had by all.

hi all thanks all had a wicked day great stand nice zeds nice to meet some new faces thanks steve and marco

Hi all - had a great day. thanks again Marco. (and everyone else involved).
now I know the car isn't going to disintegrate or throw me into the barriers, I promise I'll get some practice in and not hold you all up next time.

Thanks to all those involved in the organising. I ended up get there a bit late in the day, so missed quite a bit, but well worth the trip all the same. Nice one!

On the 370z front, it reminded me of Mr Blobby... looks better in photos.

I have to say... I was disappointed in the 370Z, but also very relieved that I don't need to spend 27K replacing my 350!!! Long live the beautiful 350!!!

To me, it looks like they've messed with the 350 to create a new car.

Maybe the 370 will be a grower!

Lovely pictures- the A10 SSS does it for me:bow::bow::bow:

Yea it was one of my cars of the show!!!!! Stunning!!!!

One of the stand out cars at the show IMO. Spoke to the guy on the stand who said it was on the floor pan of a 200sx, they were still working through the night to get it ready for thew show and the paint had only dried on friday!! Still work in progress though and should be making a few more appearances later in the year when it has been finished. Cant wait to see the final product.
