MZR Roadsports: Evolving The Datsun 240Z in England

Probs the main demand in the future might be be a properly restored (MZR) bodyshell that can be got back to original spec., strip off the nonsense, get the flakey wiring loom back and the shit plastics, job done.

I have no doubt that if prices continue to rise - there will be a demand for standard cars - bolstered by collectors and investors ( not necessarily by enthusiasts for the s30).

I’m also pretty sure ( in line with 60/70 years of of car culture ) there will still be demand for tastefully modded cars - and that individuality and the skill/ desire for ‘ improvement ‘ ( not cow hide roof linings) over the original - will still be a thing.

I think MZR’s timing has been important , but also their products stand up pretty well in their own right.

Would I pay that much for one ? Too hypothetical - but I kinda like the fact what they are doing creates the interest .
