Rocky Auto did a carbon wrapped Z if you haven't seen it - could give you an idea what it would look like :)

Have you tried ebay for the mirrors?

If you go for fender mirrors, make sure you put them in the right place (which is different on each wing), otherwise they'll be **** functionality-wise.

Although as your car is LHD, swap the below measurements over in mirror image as the drawing is for RHD cars.

It does look mean - and without the inevitable bolt-on wheel arches too. You don't need those.

He does if he's fitting 9" et-13 up front and 9.5" et-19 rears! :p

Letting your dislike of arch flares seep out there again Robert! :D

Yes, sorry - can't help myself. It's not so much the flaring of the arches. It's all the hideous bolts all round that I dislike so much. But each to their own - everyone has their preferences. Will keep my mouth shut on that topic from now on - promise!

But...but a 993 GT2 is the most epic looking 911 ever produced

If arches are fitted to cars I prefer to see a clean edge and screws rather than blended-in filler which after time cracks.

Or rely throw the cat amongst the pigeons and use black nylon pan head bolts

removable and no stains :p

Although I would suggest that allen-headed rivnuts (see Datsun Dave's car) make for a tidy, removable alternative.

Have you ever removed a rivnut? They need a hole about 2-3mm larger than the bolt going in them. When you remove them it makes a mess. A rivet would be the cleanest install, smallest hole in the body easy to drill out.

I'm not talking about removing the rivnut sleeve - I was talking about the ability to easily unbolt and reinstall the arches should you need to.

I know the correct fastener is a rivet - IMO (caveat applied, if you don't agree, my humble apologies), I think plain rivets look rather ghetto in comparison. IMHO etc.

Well bought sir! I saw your car on CL a short while ago at a very good price. Had no idea as to the amount of work and development that had gone into it as shown on Ratsun. Looks to be a very individual car

Thanks jumbobeck, I contacted the seller on CL and we had a chat for a bit and he sent me an email with that link...... needless to say I transfered $500 to him and flew out 2 days later :).

When I got there the car was everything I hoped it would be, after a rather spirted blast down the free way I stumpted up the cash, the brakes are better than on my s2000 !!!

Sorry mate, I thought you meant if you decided that you wanted to take them off completely in the future:D
