I'm sorry Paul but my feminine side takes offence at your overtly masculine comments and I may have to sue you for £4,500,000 but you can keep your Z as I don't like shit brown.

i see that charade circuit is having 'croft' problems with objectors to noise levels etc. hope you don't lose the circuit!!

It's the modern trend now - it belongs to the local region but they seem not 100% positive to outwit the handful (30) of local residents who've bought land near the circuit and built upon ! They have about 30 open days per year - luckily it is publicly owned or it would have gone down the pan years ago with that rentability !

Christ, I'd die to have a great house in the country right on top of one of the countries best and most under-exploited circuits ! Tossers !

Sean, I've watched them all - you had the circuit to yourself, only one other car! I enjoyed it and can imagine how slippery it was, I was at Donington in similar conditions on Monday (see pic). At least we are using our cars no matter what weather.:driving:

What happened to the footage of the gravel-trap incident?

Your videoing is very professional, especially the inset rear view but we needed more cars.

Thankyou - finally someone who's wtached them AND commentated !

Since I was in the gravel trap for ten minutes (the max time for a youtube video) we deleted it - not much to see.

Yes, it was slippery and the empty track gave me plenty of opportunity to push harder to find the limits in relative safety.

I regret a little that there weren't more cars - there was an RSR 911, a race prepared 914/6, the Lotus you saw and a 2litre Caterham - we never saw each other ! Normally the sessions required a minimum of 10 cars so I count myself lucky that they didn't cancel them !

Don't worry, the next circuit videos on the same track from June will have a plethora of cars, predominantly Ferraris - why do you think I was practising...........?

I agree with you, we ARE using our Zs in all weathers - that's what they are for and one cannot always predict the weather anyway !

I bought two second-hand Samsung video cameras and have two professional mounts (one on the rear strut bar facing forwards (and it's this one that gives the soundtrack) and one that 'sucks' onto the drivers' 1/4 light and faces rear.

It's another 240Z buddy who edits and puts 'em up using some software he has on his PC, commercially available so all pretty amateur really but I love what hs's done - next time he's going to try and reverse the rear view as if you were looking at it through the drivers' rear view mirror to REALLY give an effect of being there !

What about your video clips ?

Rob, what tyres are you using?

Sean, have you ever been on the dry at the Val de Vienne? Every time it's damped!
Sabotage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

I'm counting upon June for Sport and Collection..........otherwise, at least I'm prepared and I can thrash the black horses in the rain........!

Boomer, Yokos. On Monday A032 at front, 48s at rear. The deeptreaded (but old) 32s gave lots of confidence, the half worn 48s on the rear were the limiting factor. I now have Dunlop Formula R to try out too. The Pirelli road tyres I tried were useless!
