I like the fact yourself and Nissan did the 2020 reveal on the same day. Thats well connected.

Bloody coincidence :D but I am glad to have it finally at home for the 50th Z year.....well, 51st I suppose, no wait - mine's a '73 so 47th.....whatever !

How about a Fairlady converted from right to left-hand drive ? Anyway, it's got Nissan written on the valve cover......just a laugh to get punters interested on stand, show, trackdays etc. Previously in yellow, it had Datsun badges !

Love the car Sean. The more Z's I look at the more I'm drawn to the original white and orange - I don't have the paint codes to hand but we all know which ones. Maybe the feeling will pass but they look great.

Mine eventually was a Rover (75 ?) colour - almost went Mercedes off-white but it wasn't 'deep' enough.

Modern stereo - I'm oot!

No, seriously, very nice Sean - looks superb!

I do like a bit of cruising music and traffic news so I had to compromise but I threw out the Alpine I'd bought for this one as it looks 'better' in my view. Speakers are in those MSA footwell panels, neat, unseen and take decent enough speakers to hear something.:D

Are you sure she was unsure or she simply didn't have a choice ?

But then that's why I have another road-going-only HLS30 and one only for the track.;)

Oh.

Well, don't get it tattooed anywhere. It means something quite different in Japanese...

Probably does, a lot of phonetically pronounced words mean something else in another language - the Dutch always found 'Silk Cut' very amusing.

You always right it 'Meaner' or 'Mean Her' then Mein Heren etc, etc....

So, moving on from the name calling, do you and Franky have any constructive criticism, comments, observations, 'I'd do it better and/or differently like' ?

I didn't do any name-calling. I thought that was you? Mina Harker, right?

Here's a tip: Try (go on, give it a go...) to put some distance in your head between myself and Franky. I don't speak for him, and I'm sure he doesn't speak for me.

Thoughts on the car? Well, I honestly thought it might be a 3d render from the likes of 'The 240Z Guild' at first. I find that smoothing of the join between the headlamp housing and front wing - combined with the side repeater delete - a little too distracting. It looks like a photoshop job. Not my cup of tea, but that's possibly a good thing right?

Nice quality work on everything, and very much today's fashion.

I think the smoothing, headlight covers, repeater delete, clear early indicator lenses, no spoiler and the colour make the car look classy and yes modern. It's a complete look IMO. These really are timeless cars.

Come on Sean. There's been no name calling.

Alan and I actually met up last night ready for the big reveal, we'd been planning what we'd say and when we'd say it during the build up. its actually been a slight distraction to my life and I guess to Alan's also, the constant daily/hourly communication on who we're going to bring down next from the inner workings of the NMG(None Members Guild).

The only thing that matters is that YOU like it. If it makes you smile, you've won.

I like the old english white 'flavour', I thought about it for my car, I found a mercedes colour that was almost a bit more cream than the rover mix you've used however I ditched it for orange at the time as there were zero orange cars. look where that got me.

Very nice Mr Sean! Is that a factory colour? From taking panels off of my car she seemed to have been a nice off white from the factory and I’m tempted to find what it would of been and restore it to its former glory one day
