Rich - go on that's a must for you.

Also it has a 'RIGIDE BODY' which is a bonus.

Looks good on the pics, you've got time to nip-over!

It's almost worth that for breakin!!

Looks far too good to break!

If it wasn't for the fact that I have a couple of other car-related negotiations opening up ;), I'd probably say "sod it" go after this full force.

I've actually had clearance from the missus though on this 280, which was a surprise (she's not their biggest fan).

Go on - you can always sell it on at a profit to finance a 260Z

The sunroof is worth a fortune for someone wanting to fit one in an S30

Proper LOL there Rob! Thanks for that.

As I intimated, my money and real attentions need to stay 240Z focused...

A line from Star Wars comes to mind: "Stay on target... stay on target!!"

Went for £3,350. Pretty damn good deal still I'd say.

And no, it wasn't me. It took some self-control though this time! I have quite a big soft-spot for 2-seater S130s.

Fair price - glad it hasn't gone too cheaply because it should have a good home - there's some logic there somewhere.

If the sellers description is accurate then this is a very good buy indeed. I will find out shortly when its collected later in the week by the winning bidder.

Well it looks ok on the pics apart from the bottom of the doors and sills (unless my specs. are deceiving me). I doubt whether the claim to being 'rust-free' is accurate though.

Another one for your collection Preet?

Looks good on the face of it but last MOT 1997. So where's it been?

It's MOT'ed to December 2015. See the end of the first line of the description.

I think he meant to say in the second paragraph that he had MOT certificates as far back as 1997. He's clearly Kuwaiti so we'll cut him some grammar slack!

It looks to be a UK registered car, so it's unlikely to be rust free!

As noted previously the door bottoms and sills don't look right and the front valance/corners also look to be corroded.

It certainly looks like a good buy. Hopefully we get to see more photos and detail on it.

It's going to be a long wait for the pictures I am afraid. Let's say that the seller was not exactly honest in his emails and texts and his description is very misleading. It's a very poorly repaired shell and the paint finish is very flattering in pictures.

So probably wait for it to be re-listed:devil::smash:

I was concerned about the sills and door bottoms.

Photos can be very flattering, but when you know the cars very well, it's easy to spot areas that aren't right!
Hi.

It's best not to buy a 280ZX with out seeing it in the metal (rust) first!...Although I did buy my last ZX unseen, luckily it turned out to be as described.
But I did have as long talk with the owner, who had bought it from a Z specialist some months previously, for a lot more money!

Cheerz,
JeZ
