Living the dream !

what's happened to the hot tub?

5th photo, left hand side under the 'shelter' !;)

Guys, do you not have kids ? This gives an all weather, flat, enclosed playing surface !

Cars and caravan live elsewhere in the dry.

Just got the estimate in for redecorating the complate kitchen - €5300..... .......anyone want to buy a car ?

No, I've two friends (English) helping a lot !

They'll be helping me convert the bakehouse behind into an office and 4th bedroom in the spring and laying the oak parquet in the salon when the weather gets bad.

Leaving the oven as a feature but exploiting the working space plus extra space between the house and oven will give us 63sq feet with beams, a slate floor and lightly créped walls. A roof-light and extra glazing above will give the necessary natural light.

A new roof is obvious and the main reason for doing it all now, using older-style tiles.

Sean, I'll give you 5,300 for your yellow 240 no problem! Hope that helps.

Secondly why do you spend your time on this forum debating fine details when you have all that IMPORTANT stuff to do?

Well done mate it's a credit to you.

Have you not noticed the time at which I post (knowing that we're 1hr ahead of you) ? Besides, I've had gastric flu for three days.......

The 240 isn't road-worthy atm or we could do a deal - I'm waiting for a shorter propshaft.;)

But I have two VERY nice 280ZX two seaters - rare !

Especially for Rob Gaskin

Finished.

Yes, it rains here too.......

That looks fabulous mate. It looks so inviting and even through it's nice sharp clean edges it doesn't look too sterile. The wood colour really gives it a homely look. Love it.

i've always loved mature bulidings with character. i know they bring an abundance of issues when renovating. a bit like an old zed. you find something to replace and then unearth another issue that needs addressing.

looks like you've a lovely home for life there seany boy.

Next - operation salon !

No, it IS Z related.......

stage one, empty the room and take up the temporary lino flooring to revela the old, rather tired wooden floor.

My dad bought a 7 bedroom farm house with out buildings about 7 years ago, and is about three quarters doing it up, including the Barns. he has done most of the work him self. its in west france near Clessé.

The Z is now sitting on my sons' mantle-piece but worse, we had to eat 36 oysters this evening at the horrendous price of £6.56......

You're joking - Clessé - in dept. 79....35 minutes from me and centre of the West of Frances' largest concentration of Citroen Tractions (4) and Datsun Zs (5) ?

yeah thats the one, well actually it's just outside clessé. love it there. very quiet and peacefull.

Except for the quarry...my friends are at Le Genet - perhaps we could put them in contact ?
Yes, you drive passed the quarry to get to his place, I have circled where his farm is, in conjuction with the quarry. funnily enough though, you cant hear the quarry from his, and we spend most of the time outside in the summer.
I have also added a pic of the house and some of the outbuildings from the pool.

That's a large amount of building! So much potential with that outbuilding there Kim. Doesn't get a lot more rural than that. No wonder you get down there for the summer. Must be sooo relaxing! Love it.
