Didn't I do an article ? I thought you'd roped someone else into doing it ! Still want something then ?

not me mate - yes wouls be good to see something, it was a great weekend - we have loads of photos if you need them

love the alfa!!

Got some good pics from a friend of mine who's a semi-pro photographer. They're car pics rather than shots of half-drowned fans standing in puddles, but they're good stuff!

Pre-Le Mans weekend

You've seen the ads. - now taste the weekend !

http://www.volvic-tourisme.com/HTML/office.htm

This then, is my idea of the pre-Le Mans weekend !

Take the week off and drop down to see us the weekend BEFORE Le Mans, camp it up or rent a chalet. There's plenty to see in the nearby countryside and towns - volcanoes, medieval towns, châteaux, some lovely 'Z' roads and of course, this'll be a French National meeting with invitations opened to three other Z/ZX clubs here in France, not to mention other Z clubs throughout Europe !

Dates will be confirmed when Le Mans confirm theirs but count on it being the 7th/8th June.

We'll be meeting up on the Friday afternoon/evening and leaving there on the Monday.

Be aware that the Le Mans campsites are open from the Monday or stay elsewhere on the way, we can accomodate some tents at our place too although it is not exactly on the way and from Wednesday midday, I'll be at Le Mans anyway !

Sorry Sean

Won't be able to attend this.

I'll be going to the Athens Tuning Show in September as a guest of nismoclub.gr, so that's pretty much all my budget gone for 2008. :)

Maybe 2009?

If you can plan something for Sep 2008, I may be able to cll by on my way to Greece :):):)

I'll be in a lowly N13 though

And you wonder why you have no friends:conf2::conf2:

It's Nissan
It's ZX
It's mine

Over in England we call that sort of remark "jealousy" :p

Did 'Nissan' badge it as a 'ZX' then ? You seem trapped in the '80s' with your collection, all Duran-Duran and high-lights !:p

when you two have finished:rolleyes: :D lol

we can't do classic and normal Le Mans so will only be over once in July - shame all looks great

Nearly done Suze :)

Yes Sean, it was badged as a "ZX", as is the Silvia and the old Bluebird.

I guess the letters "z" and "x" have been in my blood for some time.

God bless the '80's too. :)

Finished now Suzy. :(

Back to topic

Oh, and me of course! Born slap bang in the middle of the 80's!

Bad stuff from the 80's:

Rubiks cubes.

Breakdancing.

Band Aid.

The Cosby Show.

Ronald Reagan.

Crack Cocaine.

You don't have to remind me - I was there - aged 15 - I was there too for the genuine punk movement in '76 when the coolest trophy one could have was a gobbed-on-by-Johnny Rotten t-shirt !

Re Le Mans 2008

Congrats all round Sean & Cathy, proud dad in a nice piccy :)

Sami and I are hopefully joining you again for next years Le Mans Sean.

The little z should be in orange or possibly pale puke yellow to match the loir valley leaders car :S30: .

No, not yellow - orange then, will go nice with the black wheelarch extensions !
The difficult part I've always seen is getting the brightwork around the windows right - too many people paint 'em too thick - looks awful !!!!!!

I'll be at LM08 with the ButtMonkeys again. Shorter trip this time though as my Normandy extra day wasn't entirely popular chez Lamb!

COuntdown already running!

Good morning Sean can you get me 2 tickets for this event like last year also is it possible to sort out so I can take my car on the circuit.
It was bloody exellent last year & my brother & I would like to go again. Please let me know how much .
Just a quick note what the hell happened last night in the rugby .
From your loving friend Dirk Swift
