June Events: Trentham Gardems Show & The Peak Run

Cheers Derek

We have one of the members on 300zx.co.uk dropped out due to illness and another who doubts his car will be ready. This means we have at least one, possibly two spare passes.

Current list
dicky96
Ian Greenfield
mark300zx
cheshire300zx
gray ??
KJZ32

candy red (280zx)
Rob Gaskin (240Z)
RichieP (240Z)

Is anyone interested in one of these spare passes?

Cheers
Rich

Oh just to mention - this is booked as a joint 300zx.co.uk and zclub.net stand. We will be taking our club banners/sails so if someone would like to bring along the zclub ones as well we can make the stand look really special!

Cheers
Rich

FYI I will bring the Z Club flag I have and a couple of "Datsun" and "Nissan" banners. Should help to dress things up a bit!

I'm taking the Z down to Derby tomorrow so the pub in Stoke is a convenient meeting place on the way back up the A50 on Sun am!

Nice one Richie

We have two sail type banners as well from the 300zx.co.uk which we will be taking along so the stand will look great with your flags as well. Ours are probably the same size as the ones you had at Tatton. When we attended last year we were in a prime location right on the main drive that visitors must walk along when they arrive at the show, I expect we will be in a similar location this year.

All in all it will be a good day I'm sure and the stand will look great with all the banners up. The weather forecast is good (22 degrees and a good amount of sunshine) so what more can we ask for?

I still have the two spare passes if anyone would like to tag along

As well as the show, Trentham is a nice day out and very family friendly so anyone thinking of coming along is assured of a good time.

See you all at The Weathervane in the morning. Breakfast from 8am if anyone wants one but in anycase we must leave the Weathervane by 9am

Mark300zx confirmed so we definitely have 8 attending

There are still two passes so if anyone wants to tag along last minute just let me know

Very enjoyable day - this is a bigger show than I thought. Wife and I had a lovely walk around the lake with tea and scones in the cafe' - I must be getting old!

Best paint-job at the whole show - Derrick's Candy red 280ZX.

Thanks Dicky and friends.

I must admit I did find a few Fords that I liked - Twin-cam Escort, Lotus Cortinas, Mexico, various V6 Capris etc.

Thanks Rob must admit there was a lot of people who thought my car was stunning which makes all the hours spent worthwhile even though I'm not responsible for paint job.

Glad you made it back from your walk around the lake even if it did take 4 hours :lol:
good to see you ,and all the other guys on our stand we all had a lot of interest from the public, thanks to Dicky and other for making this happen had a great day:cheers:
