Japshow Santa Pod

Had a great day at the pod great seeing your cars going down the strip getting ever closer to Johns time but not close enough yet ,but don't think it will be long before your knocking at his door well done with the progress with your cars

I also won another trophy in the show and shine not really much of an achievement compared to what you guys have done with your cars keep up the good work

Heres a few pics

A few more to come
Derrick;)

Good to see Rob's car...must see it in person as it looks fab in pictures. As does the tasty 2+2 with RB lump

You deserve all the trophy you get Derrick. Some great pictures too. None of mine but I guess I was to quick for you and everyone else :)

Robs car looked superb along with the 2+2.

Thank Mike.

Well the tasty 2+2 is featured in banzai mags november issue with some old supercharged 240, its out in a couple of days so best get yourself down to whsmiths Rob but remember your seat and reading glasses :D

....... get yourself down to whsmiths Rob but remember your seat and reading glasses :D

too right, but never mind reading glasses I need sun glasses if that old orange car is featured.

This is going to sound ridiculous but for some strange reason to me the 2+2 and RB seems a more natural marriage than a 2 seater and RB

I wonder if your diff had an impact on traction and your times. Remember only one wheel spinning when jacked up at the petrol station? A diff check may be in order.

Well for those of you that didn't know when I left santa pod I felt this vibration noise from the car an thought oh sh...t somthings bent so just crept along to the fuel station at 40 mph where me and john drove it up a kerb to inspect, strange because every thing looked in order, John then said have you got a tow rope Yes I replied but lets try and see how it goes so its not often you have john behind you ;) strange thing was the vibration was there at 15 mph 45 mph and 60 mph but anything over that nothing any way around 8 0clock I got home on my own steam so tonight I had a jack up and a good look, took me an hour to find the culprit it was the prop shaft centre bearing rubber surround breaking up seen it loads of times but not very clear tonight, here's one in the link and a good description of symtoms

Glad you found the reason. Was it the original one off the old M3. See how a new one holds up, or maybe something stronger.

As a matter of interest Terry what is the quickest S/C M3 1/4 mile. Basically I'm wanting to see how an S30 compares.

Good talking to you guys and didn't we all do well :) I am back there for Flame and Thunder got into the 'quickshift challenge' final. The other three are quicker than me but you can never count anyone out in the quarter : ) and got my 10.92 recorded for posterity in the Japshow video!
