Japfest 2005

Hi Suzy, i sent you an email a couple of weeks ago. but it must have gone astray.
Can I still get a ticket for the for the Z stand and track event? I can send you a cheque tomorrow if there is still space. Or do the cash thing on the day either is cool with me.
Please let me know.
Ps I wanted two tickets as requested in lost email.

TRACK TIME SOLD OUT

There will be two track sessions each with 20 Z/ZX racing each other, I do have space on the Zed car stand so if you want to come and watch the fun let me know. At the moment there will is 57 cars with a good representation of each model (bit low on 260Z for some reason?)

Entrance only £7 per person, includes a vehicle pass for the Z Club stand
 
Tony of course you are on the stand, you don't think I would put you in another field do you????

BUT I did have you down for both track sessions but you have only paid for one, do you still want the other one (I need £19.25 off you ASAP), It is yours but don't wory if you don't want it. Let me know

I still have some room left on the club stand but no track time.

Tony 260Z - did you want the second track session? need your money mate.

Hi Folks - Japfest update

You should recieve your tickets by the end of next week.

Gates open 7.00AM!!!!!!
I am hoping to be there by 7.30 to set up the stand and generally panic!
If you want to avoid the rush I would try to get there by 8.30/9.30
I'm away for a couple of days so don't panic if you don't hear from me, I'll be back next Tuesday

Just a quick note for those taking part in the track sessions, it's wise to get your car sound checked early!

Unless you are confident you'll pass don't wait until you are queuing for the session.

Last year there was frantic buying and fitting of silencer devices and I know of one club member who missed track time as a consequence.
The sound limit is 100db and they are strict because of local objection to noise.
 
Ahhhhhh hell. Bad news. Just found a problem with the car which needs fixing. Very, very unlikely to be ready for Japfest and can't take her out until it's done.

Gutted.

Suzy...got ticket thanks!......all 'geared up' to go, and should be no probs..BUT, I had a nasty smash yesterday on the way to work in my van, badly hurt my right shoulder (typing s-l-o-w).

To be honest I got away lightly as he was doing (men drivers eh!) 80 odd, and I was doing a U-ey, though I was indicating etc ...he went to overtake and...smash. (Only got van thru MOT a week ago!...thankful it werent the Z cos I'd be in pieces now, thank God for French vans.

Off to hospital /or doctors this morn to see if any ligament damage etc...not good when you got all the 'cuttin in' to do today on a P + deco job...AND 2 gigs on the weekend!.......and of course driving to castle Coombe....will keep the forum 'posted' as to likely hood of my tic. becoming available. Should be OK and really wanna come etc...realistically I wont be in from my gig on Fri til 2 AM, so am looking at arriving lunch time.

Si - not you as well - hope the shoulder is not too bad - you have a couple of days to recover!!
 
:( Regret to announce I cant make the Japfest meet either, due to a viral infection in the ears giving the balance an added knock!!
So a 3 hour drive has been ruled out!! :mad:
Tickets have been returned to Suzy and will anticipate a bumper crop of photos (PLEASE :D ) from you all to make up for my devastating loss!!
