Japfest 2005

Hi Wyn

Yes your car has to be road legal to go on the track but not to be on the Z Club stand.

Ben and Dee are bring along their hillclimb baby to put on display and I was going to send them just one vehicle pass - but I will check up on that and let you know. ( I should have a little space at the back of the stand for support wagons!)
Unless you mean you are trailing a Zed with a Zed:unsure:

Kids under 14 are free:)

Danny from DTA Motorsports (Z32) will have a stand, the organizers usually put him very close to us. But apart from that no Z only bits, but check out the Z Club back to Billing show (2nd July) and JAE, details in next magazine:D

I have attached a booking form but fire away if you have anymore questions

Cheers for the reply suzy

Na, I was thinking of trailering the Zed there (with me trusty vectra auto lol) only cos the Zeds still not road legal.
I know I need to get it sorted but tbh I wouldn’t want to tax n insure it just so I can use it for 1 day

But if the sun comes out n I can get a few of my other projects sorted I’ll be there, Zed or no Zed :D
Tis a shame about no Zed only stands there. :(

it looks like this will be the first viewing of the rebuilt Z as we are not going to be ready for the first gurston meeting in april. This is due to the extensive repairs and modifications that are happening to the car following last years accident. It will still be in the dutch race colours as is befitting off the history of the car but the mechanical and electronical part of the rebuild is as normal taking slightley longer than expected. Oh the joys of modern engineering. We are at the moment waiting on the wiring loom to be made for the data logging, traction control, launch control and engine management systems. PS will there be room for the motorhome at the back of the stand PLEASE PLEASE suzy. cheers ben and dee

How big is it?
(The motor home that is:cool: )

and the question that might just swing it;)

Do I get bacon butties out of it at 9.00am?

..... an open to all Zed owners motorhome

I can just see the crowds now :D

teas, coffees, egg or bacon butties will be available at a very reasonable minimal cost with all the money going to dee's daughters fund raising efforts. Her school are raising the funds to bring some Zambian students over here on an exchange visit.

If the club is agreeable to that. Unfortunately the interior of the datsun hospitality suite will not be available as a lounge facility however there will be outside seating under the awning to protect the delicate skins from the viscious castle coombe sun if required.
and in answer to your first question suzy, it is 22 ft long. cheers ben and dee

all sounds good to me
I do need to check out the size of the pitch but I can't see this being a problem.
Ben I'll give you a call sometime after Easter to sort it all out

Cheers to Dee's Daugther:)

Suzy are there still places available for the second track session, Before I send you the cheque?

Nick...

Hi Nick
send away, I have about 8 places left on the second track session (£19.25 payable to me)

For those interested in coming along I have space left on the Z Club Car stand.
Come and join the 45 other Zeds that have already signed up. You don't have to be a Z Club member (but be prepared for a bit of hard sell on the day;) )
Entrance only £7 per person includes your vehicle pass for the car stand

Hi rsj, and all that are going to the japfest.
I had intended to stay at the Cross Hands on Saturday Night, to get an early start on Sunday to get home, but thinkin about it, It would be better to book in on Friday Night and get an early start at the event.
SO, Im staying at the Cross Hands Friday Night, A few Bevvies before bubeyes, and a full english before heading to Castle Coombe.

Anyone else planning to stay over at the Cross Hands?
