How to sell your Z?

So ok with some serious consideration over the last few months/ year, I have decided it’s time for my car to find a new home.

I have never owned anything like my Z or sold something like it. So in all honesty I have no idea how to go about selling it or even where to sell it. I hate eBay with a passion and am very reluctant to go down that route.

So apart from telling me not sell, what’s everybody’s thoughts?

I my self think car and classic is the best place and is looks better than eBay in my option for a add typed sale

I saw your beauty of a 240z and is well known in club

I think try a advert good examples don't hang about I keep a eye on prices

Also spring is coming up ideal time

collectingcars seems to have success in selling cars for strong money, although you'll need to be "selected"

Just be aware that they are known to be quite aggressive with getting you to lower your reserve

Both my z’s were initially advertised on eBay before I bought them . Easy way to get them to a wide audience .

There was no expectation from either seller I would buy blind through the auction.

I sold a car through there too . With a detailed listing and a strict reserve it was pain free . Aside from the odd idiotic question and stupid offer.

Sold my s2000 on pistonheads which again was ok.

I'd try collecting cars. Given all the work you've put in and had done with the panels(can't think of many that have had factory panels fitted?) I'd go there. you can ignore the pressure about the reserve.

I don't like collecting cars but it a good platform. they've not had a 2 seater either I think(RHD UK car).

have you decided how much you'd want for it yet?

That's good to know - I've considered a few times selling on there, but have never actually taken the plunge. I can only go off what other people have said
