Most of welds ground down now just a few bits of fine sanding before epoxy priming the panel:)

Need to sort rear lower corner next but need to decide what I'm going to do with the rear valence before going to far ,would like to finish welding this side of the car really before cutting passengers side floor out :rofl:

Decided to cut this badly repaired air tube off ,was only tacked on and ratted when i tapped it
should be interesting what the inside of the air tube looks like on a Uk car :unsure:

Well this is what mine looks like inside :eek: looks like when it was last repaired they left part of the original air tube in and welded to it [Bodger's ] :(

Seems like every repair previously done on this car has been carried out in the same fashion ,thats why its taking so long to put right, as i go to replace one piece i end up replacing everything around each area :eek: :rofl:

Perhaps i should stop looking for inner rust but i do want to try and make this a good rust free car otherwise a waste of time imo still like the challenge ,I think :D
