What an absolutely stunning meeting at Gurston we have just had. At least 3 class records went. The outright hill record was just missed by a couple of hundreths of a second. The big single seaters were recording speeds of 135 mph in hollow and 147 through the finish line.
Dee got back down to pre accident times with a good run of 42.98 and 81 mph through the finish line kink, just 2 tenths shy of her best time ever. Having spun the car in 1st practice on sunday at the entry to karousel I then managed to record a couple of safe 35 second runs.
I have now added a couple of items to the winter workload list of jobs on the car and with just 1 meeting left that I can attend, (10th sept at gurston) that time is drawing near.

nigel I dont think even I can get away with calling Dee the old beast:cool:
but I certianly admire you for doing it lol
 
What another spin!!! That's the 2nd this season isn't it. Are you trying hard or what ???
Dare I ask how a certain 911 faired...
