yeah George down here it's more like 50/50 oh well thats the price you pay for living in the boondocks :)

I need to fit the pumps yet ,there is a pick-up in front of the tank , just like the works rally fueltank and i took the sparewheelwell out .

Yes its a Subaru diff 4.40 with plate type LSD ( WRX Gr N rally ) , we made modified the input flange to fit the propshaft and we made new output flanges to suit the Datsun drive shafts

Can you drop me a price for the output flanges?

Here you go Wyn, not a great pic but you get the idea.

Cheers George
I've got a spare cross brace so will have a go at that idea

I've had a go at the pump mount tho not 100% it will be ok?
Idea being filter (to be added) will sit on top of the pump brkt
Good -- bad idea ???

Might still yet add a few spacers/ rubber cotton reels to the pump bracket to lift the pump a little higher ?

Wyn,

mine is really similar and I've had no problems, and your's is mounted slightly lower which is a good thing.

I've used old end link rubber bushes on the bolts for the filter, the pump is already mounted in a bracket with rubber insulators built in.

What the pictures don't show is that I mounted a metal gaurd around the filter as my exhaust passes under there so now it has some heat shielding, I probably should also have mounted a gaurd around the whole bracket to protect the pump/filter from flying road depris.

I saw that so gave me the idea to mount my pump offset to try keep it away from the exhaust side and stick the filter on top
Still need to fit a new exhaust but it should help. The guard would be a good idea
I see you use a alloy pre filter, so no need for a main filter aswell after the pump?

Yes, I use two, the other is in the engine bay. I did a bit of research at the time and the concensus was to have a pre pump filter and another one just before the fuel goes to the injectors.
