It seems I wasn't paying much attention when I took my hubs off and I can't remember which way around the grease seal goes. Which side faces the bearing and which side faces the strut?
Rob Gaskin Treasurer Staff member Site Administrator Jul 2, 2011 #2 Grease seals are meant to keep the grease in, so the flat surface faces outwards. The 'cupped' section faces towards the grease.
