Front wheel bearings - grease seal orientation

It seems I wasn't paying much attention when I took my hubs off and I can't remember which way around the grease seal goes. Which side faces the bearing and which side faces the strut?

Grease seals are meant to keep the grease in, so the flat surface faces outwards. The 'cupped' section faces towards the grease.

The seals I have have a groove on both sides, so I guess the big groove goes towards the grease. Cheers, something to tackle tomorrow
