Looks like the track control arm may be up side down try turning it 180 , make sure the nut is off the back of the rod before you bolt it to the arm. Have you got the bush spacing right? I can't remember if it was the thick side at the front or the rear.

nope the control looks the same as mine, maybe you just need to undo the nut so you can move it into position

Things seem to be fitted the correct way to me.

Is your 'compression rod' the original part taken off the car?

Get the crossmember bolted in place first.
Track control arm bush is correct - thick spacing to the rear.
Don't tighten up the TCA bolt before the tension compression rod is fitted - this will give some flexibility.
Is the spacing of washer and bush correct at the attachent of tension/compression rod to chassis? The big washers actually fit with concave / cup side facing outwards from the bushes.

the crossmember is fine, the problem is with your tension rod (zinic plated part) they are always tight when using new poly bushes.
fit the crossmember as mentioned by Mr.F and then what i would do is tighten up the tension rod at the body section and then put a lifting device under the TCA arm until it meets the tension rod end and then try to bolt it up but you will still have a bit of a struggle but they will be a lot closer.

Hi there,

Can you share some pics as to how you have raised the car?

I need to do some suspension work myself and it would be helpful.

Thanks!
