Two questions, where on facebook did it get ripped and where are the current goto Z place/s on facebook.
My particular fav was the highlighting the orange peel paint logo pic.

Somewhere in one of these groups, these are the ones I subscribe to.

So, Jason, please don't antagonise - I feel like I'm being provoked.

This guy didn't improve much (if at all) on MZR !

https://www.motor1.com/news/308770/datsun-240z-modernized-video/

I'm totally not trying to..........

I said done with care, as in, hes put effort into it, even if its just copying what hes looking at. I don't mind a bit of orange peal, its more in keeping with the cars than 101% flawless paint.

you keep mentioning my phone, yes my phone is made in China, its where the raw components are made, it, along with Korea is the global centre of excellence in this field. if you were to have the same product make in the UK, it'd cost more to make and I doubt the quality would be as good.

With this car, they've clearly copied the MZR cars, however all they've done is create a lower quality version. With most things, if you ship them to china to get copied and don't actually own the supply network or have shares in the factory building, you'll end up with a lower quality version. So a French bloke, ships his MZR to china, says 'make me some of these', 2 months later the car we're all talking about falls out the factory doors. However he doesn't go to China, doesn't follow whats being done, ends up with........

Could be any product.

Cheers, I don't really use facebook , I'll have to have a look at those, cheers.

you're not missing much, not really a source of any use to a degree, just because of the structure.

Classic Z car forum would be a much better option, i'd guess you're a 'member' there though?

Oh, you mean like Japan does.

Good point.

Not a lot of people realise that, every Monday morning, the entire 127 million population of Japan get out of bed and have a joint Zoom call to China to see how 'production' is going.

Woe betide anyone who doesn't get up in time. They get rounded up and sent out to catch whales.

Pretty sure in the 70's there were loads of well respected car magazines laughing at comical j.. crap.

yeah, problem is that in the 70’s they were laughing 20 years too late.

I know what you’re aiming at. I’m not china bashing at all. Most of the bits around me is made there.

only a few of them are of real quality though. That’s what I’m saying. This car isn’t the quality of mzr while trying to copy it

I'm not actually, I'm not really a 'club' type person.
I'm aboard the Freedom Bus, heading for Good Time City.
And I haven't even paid my fare.

I’d say to sign up there. It’s a decent forum and approaches things from a different angle to here so they complement well.

I initially read this punctuated as above with the comma in place, sounds much more interesting:smoke:EXTRA:D
