FP Sport DATSUN 240Z S30 - 1972 109K Euros

Maybe I just picked the 'wrong thread' to start out on.

Most likely.

The plus point is any threads run their course and there's info to be gained on it. I didn't know that all the replicas of wheels have such differences, or that someone is having them made in 15" but an accurate scaled up version.

Hmmm, well that's half an hour of my life I'm not getting back, damn you Jason for your rec....
On topic (almost) I hear the Chinese are good at ping-pong (as well as cheap manufacturing) but you lot would definitely give them a good game.

How rude
Hang on in there then, gonna take you a bit longer very soon (I reckon you've been 39 and three quarters for a suspiciously long time now)

The classiczcars forum can be a very rewarding, entertaining and educational read if you pick the right threads.

One of the longest (66 pages) and most interesting - in my opinion - was started by my friend Katsuhiko 'Kats' Endo, a Japanese enthusiast with a great collection who has dug out all sorts of parts, data and people involved in the S30-series Z story. A few of the embedded links are broken now, but still highly recommended:

Agreed it is a great resource Alan. I am actually familiar with the site having bought my first 240Z (which I still own) from a great guy on there some 8 or 9 years ago.
Just not been back on there for a few months - first thread I came across was the..... cough.......say it quietly 'Kobe Seiko' copy/replica/re-interpretation discussion which took me a while to get through.
