ok people this is it . the only female Z club member driving in motorsport. why not come along and give her the girl power support she deserves. Dee is driving at Gurston down hillclimb on 14th 15th june in a 240Z.A limited number of FREE tickets are available give us a call 01963350197  come along to the meeting and support her and you never know the old man might just let you drive the Z at a hillclimb in the future. Come on girls show the boys what you're made of!!!!!!!!!!!
 
nice to see that the apathy is spread evenly across the club and not just restricted to the macho men. Its disappointing to see that there is a complete lack of support from the female side. (except for michelle and she even enjoyed it)
 
Dont be disheartened Ben, soon things will be bubbling in the club I'm sure, especially if I have anything to do with it <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> Good effort though.
 
im disheartened for the club members that are trying to promote the club as a serious concern. from my own experience i turn up at hill climbs and sprints and see the likes of the MG club, the TR register, the Scimitar club, the Ginetta club all going out to motorsport events and getting a huge following from their fellow club members. I have enjoyed support from the club in the past, the old thames valley group and cheshire plainz in particular and just wish that there was the same support for the active members of the club now. but then maybe the fact that there are only about 30 members out of the 650 registered members using the site tells it's own story. maybe we are a secret owners club and the ones that contribute to the site and take their cars out to shows and race meetings just dont know that we are not supposed to be seen in daylight.
 
LOL oh well, dont give up, although I dont have a Z a few of us (notibly those on this forum) are working hard and soon I'm sure something will come of it...

As soon as I have a worthy motor I'll come follow you guys around and help spanner if need be <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

had a secret meeting, or thats what it feels, like a few weeks back at the Shuttleworth Collection it was meant to be a national meeting
3 Zs there and my transit van but boy did we have a great day out really feel sorry for the other 600 odd members who didn't show and missed it
don't get to disheatened and miss billing as the format for best race preped car has been changed for cars that have taken part in this seasons offical motor sports events only in an attempt to make members more aware of the guys who are promoting the Zs in motorsport events

spoke to hugh mears who takes part in rallies and he is comming to billig to help support the racepreped class
once billing out the way will try and drum up some guys to come and support you at one of the hillclimbs
 
always good to see you steve. will make you welcome &nbsp;maybe you could make it down for longleat again. will try to make billing if I can get the time off work but it is not looking good. I am sure that there will be the usual gang there and will have a whale of a time. Might try to get hold of a trabant to bring up just to see if it generates any interest. russ you dont need to have a worthy car to turn up at any of the events. you just need to turn up.
 
Sorry Ben, when I said worthy car I meant my 306 needs two new front tyres and the camber adjusting to stop em wearing a bold ring on the inside again, dodgy tyres is points on your licence and I dont wanna take it too far till I can afford more tyres (oh the joys of being a student).

hi there datty &nbsp;good to hear from you and please accept and pass on to the other club mambers out there my heartfelt apologies for not coming back over to see you. The trips I have made to NARN ARLAND have certainly been the most memorable meetings that I have attended. I had hoped to be back over this year but unforntunately due to my lay off last year from injury and work this year there is no way I can make it. However, if all goes to plan then next year I will be back over to see you all for the August speed weekend and I will not be alone. By then my very brave nighttime plaything will be driving the car as well and she is keen to come over to sample your hospitality.(there is a very slight chance of 2 Z'scoming over) Look forward to seeing you . If you are over here then let me know cos we might be at a meeting that we can get you tickets to come along too. Regards to all the club over there &nbsp;ben
