Dissolving 240z

Thank you mate!

Where are you collecting it from just out of interest? Is it completely rotten or salvageable?

It is in a yard just down the road from my house in Billingshurst, West Sussex.

To be honest, I think its past it, floors gone, sills are gone, holes all over it, by the looks of the front wing as you can see in the pic it looks like it has been picked up on a forklift before.

if take that on.

then again i am a glutton for punishment!

if you decide to get shot of the shell complete with engine and rolling gear id be interested in it as a long long term project.

No worries bud, I'm viewing on mobile so can't see pictures brilliantly!

I will happily get rid of the shell and running gear once I have broken all of the useful parts.

You are welcome to come and look at it if you are down this way in the near future

I picked up the 260 yesterday and it is a beauty, very little work needed to be absolutely perfect.

It has only done 1000 miles since a full restoration so just needs a couple of bits tidying up. Would go through an MOT as is but I am a perfctionist so it won't be on the road until it is perfect!

The dissolving 240 on the other hand is not so good! I think the shell is a basket case to be honest as there is a lot more rotton than not!

I managed to free the wheels up with a rubber mallet but every whack sent a few more peices crashing to the floor.

I am going to put the parts up on the classifieds when I take them off.

Will try to get a couple of picks of the 260 on here tomorrow.
