CV drive shaft conversions -Any interest?

It's a fair chunk of money and I don't suppose I've got enough power to break my old driveshafts - what sort of betterness could I expect with CVs?

Subjective...... maybe 2-3% more power to the wheels, smoother drive train, less noise transmitted though the body. No UJ's to maintain

Yes please Franky, may just be cheaper to get them from John but we will see. Im in no rush - was just going to use a 3.9 Subaru diff (non lsd type) and those stub axles...if I could find an s14 gearbox.

I've seen them listed a few times, potential of 5 scrap boxes though? You think it's worth a gamble?

200SX gearboxes are getting harder to find ,if you have a gear box you can rebuild it .I put a s14 gearbox on my car and I noticed the output cover had a crack around base where the clutch release bearing slides up and down and that was £85 to replace.you might buy a one gearbox for £300 but it is not given that it will be 100%
