I use Peter Best Insurance. Don't know if they do younger drivers but they seem to bend over backwards to help you and I have found them very good. You could try them.

Also my daughter who is 24 has her MGB GT insured through broker Adrian Flux - the actual insuance company is called Kinetic.

Hope that helps!

WillCo - good to speak to you the other day and welcome to the Club. If I was you I wouldn't rush to get your car over for the NEC Show, it will just be in a massive car park and more than likely in the pouring rain. Come over though and meet us on the stand (is flying to Birm Airport viable?).

Please PM me with some car details eg, year, reg, colour, eng./chassis numbers. We'll get a Member's Pack to you in the near future.

Seems that 280ZXs are geeting more popular.

280zx, CC Insurance et al.

Well here I am logged in as promised.
1) Good to welcome a new member to the Z Club. Congratulations for discovering one of the best classic car clubs in the universe.
2) Yes. I predict.Datsun 280zx's are the next best investment to shares and in (my very personal opinion) Speaking as someone who owns one of the finest, totally original, 1979, 280 ZX,s in GB.(28000 genuine miles,) Will be wholly more valuable than the latest Royal Mail Sell Off in the next two years or so and certainly a whole lot more of an investment than Corgi, Dinky, (Any other Die cast) Bassett -Lowke or Hornby collectables. My Insurance Company have agreed to a valuation of 10K. I kid you not. Problem is you cannot get anything but the most basic spares. Even a master cylinder will prove difficult. Cannot wait to see your piccys. If you possess a 280zx with that genuine low milage. Cannot wait to put it in the 2014 Z Club calendar. Please email three or four really good photos to the Editor, ZClub Newsletter within next couple of weeks with a short background summery of the car.s history, etc:thumbs:
In respect of your CC Insurance. They will not touch anyone under 25. However, try SWINTON on 01727 840464. You will find that the rate for yourself ,together with your partner, together with your Son, Could prove extremely competitive. As we discovered with our 18 yr old son newly qualified. I think where you live is a very important factor.
Hope that all helps. Look forward to seeing you art the N.E.C.

Tried ringing the Heritage insurance co but they would not do it, we have had good service from NFU and they would cover younger drivers as named aditional drivers but they seem to have reined this in a bit lately, I will try some of the others mentioned but not looking hopefull.
