Well what Z related presents did people get then?

I wanted a 350Z, even though I've never even been in one! I thought I was going to be able to buy one the other day, I checked my 'lucky dip' numbers for Saturday and got the first 4, heart started pounding but no more came 'up'. Oh well I did get £60 for the 4.

I got a professional photo of my 240 at Japfest (first session) from my son Lee, who was the passenger.

My wife, Jayne bought me a digital camera (Samsung V800, 8.1mega pixels) which has good video capability for track days (I've extended the memory). Time to get rid of the old Zenith SLR now!

Corgi 240z #394, Matchbox 260z #67, Tamiya 240ZG model
240/260Z Gold Portfolio
Trolley jack + axle stands
TomTom 5 + Europe Maps
Ice scraper (hopefully never to be used on Zep)

Tamiya Z32 Model and a Z32 Mouse mat!!

Now all i have to get is the patience to build it!! :D

Good crimbo this yr :santab:
Engine crane (atlast, just what I wanted, not that I knew lol) :D
Sack barrow (no excuse now, so I can’t use/break me lads skate board again)

Halfords tool kit. (hmm, need to suggest a roll cabinet is needed next) ;)
Extension lead. So I stop nickin the one from indoors
Wire cutters to cut wire
Various rock cds, inc Air Guitar so I can listen whilst I work
Shed alarm, to keep me bits safe (I hope)
Usual smellys, shirts, b/shorts, socks etc. Could use those to clean the screen I guess :santa:

Zed models appear to be popular and most of us have a few but I've never seen one of Big Sam, is there such a thing?

LMAO, I'm not sure if it's complementary to our clubs Honorary President, or tacky!

Those things are awful, they rattle and drive you mad, you end up puncing their heads off. Poor Mr.K.

I'm impressed you got round a way to link to it, I tried but to no avail.

Quite a good likeness but very tacky!

For reference you can find the link by...

Go to View -> Source in internet explorer. This gives you the code for the page. Then find the image in the source (I searched for .jpg and found it straight away). If it's a full link (i.e. starts with http://) you can just use that, but it wasn't (it is a relative link i.e. the image is found relative to the page it's displayed on). So you find where the page is (for instance this page is http://www.zclub.net/forum/showthread.php?p=50135 so I need http://www.zclub.net/forum/), then add the relative link to the end, and voila. Sometimes relative links start with ../../, each ../ means "go up a level" so if I had an image on this page that was ../images/bla.gif, and this page is http://www.zclub.net/forum/showthread.php?p=50135, it means it's at http://www.zclub.net/images/bla.gif, because I've gone up a level (from zclub.net/forum/ to zclub.net/ and then into images.

Sorry for off topic and boring.

Well done Russ! You beat the system! ;)

Thanks for the explanation.

Going back on topic I bought my Z a 27mm socket :) so I can turn the crankshaft. I would say it's one of the most essential sockets in a Z mans toolbox.

How long will it take to build a mouse mat then?;)

I got the head unit I was after:-

Got it all installed and set up yesterday - excellent bit of kit.

The Z bits that I didn't get, have now been ordered by myself :D

Dangerous place to be after Christmas dinner!

Are those Datsun models I spy in the display cabinet?

Hehe. You need to train her to polish car wheels, keep her occupied. In fact you could shut her in your Z extension with a cleaning kit, she'd be safe then.
