Cheap 240Z

Some slightly brighter news, the blue 240Z that started this thread has been provisionally sold, to be picked up next week. Have to say I was more than a bit tempted myself, and would've had it if it turned out that all it did need was the light sorted!

Cheers,
Rob

I would hope whoever purchased this z had seen it in the flesh, because none of the pics show the true condition! It wanted complete respray, rust to the boot lid was evident, sills required attention, hole in one inner wing, radiator support wanted attention and the list went on.
I wouldn't be surprised to see it back on ebay very shortly !

If you wanna buy something that wants work doing to them, you might as well
check out our Own classifieds for cars on sale as you would most certainly
get a better deal.Either you buy something at the lower end & completely
overhaul the motor like Groll's has done,or you buy one that has had wads
spent on it. DJZ 60.

Or you buy a good one from your sauce in the States DJ and put the money where YOU want to ! But then 260 2+2s over there are even rarer than they are over your way - the market decided it wanted to leap-frog 'em and go straight to the ultimate road Z - the 280Z !

Grolls, if he paid £600 for new carbs, he got a bargain or was that without the manifold ? And besides, ask Pmac, most Zeds (and now Z32ss) are worth more in pieces :)

"Sam,That white Z's price also includes the very substantial sectional garage
worth atleast 4 Grand.:D"

LOL!

Probably more as it looks like the early Grimston 2-door prototype. A piece of garage hisory long thought lost. What a rare find!
