Don't get why MJP is exempt - how does that work then?

Just bought expensive item from Canada - let's see what happens! :s

I'm far from exempt. Being in business and VAT registered means that everything gets hit!
We buy and ship in bulk to keep shipping costs to a minimum. I use a freight forwarding company that handles door to door rather than FedEx, UPS etc. Even then, the add-on costs can be high.
Bearing in mind I need to eat and pay my bills, USA parts come out at approx. £1 = $1 + VAT. Carriage within mainland UK is at UK rates. All the inbound carriage, import duties, clearance and additional fees plus paperwork are covered.
Also, if things are wrong, then you have someone more on hand to cover the problem and look after your interests.
 
Oh I totally get the value of and of course value MJP, I just got the impression you somehow found a legal way to not be robbed by the import duties. ;)

You eat!? That's a bit much! When I were a lad ...
 
Just put my old centre console up on eBay and found this little gem on the box that the new console came in! Thought it may be of interest ....

Btw if anyone is interested here's my old one, not sure it will sell but I thought what the heck, better than taking to the dump + someone who may not wish to spend c.£200 may be able to use it/improve it.

I really hate throwing away Z parts. Anyone else feel the same?
 
www.zcardepot.com via eBay. They guy's name is Ryan and he's a top man, bought lots from him in the past.

BTW, the consoles are unisex but these would be LHD configured, so you do need to drill 2 new holes for the arm rear hinges to open the correct way for RHD and move the blanking plates across.

You will also need to reverse the orientation of the hinges on the spring or just use your old one as I did.

I'm very pleased with my new one.

Not to be a ******, but.......

Looking at thepic of the centre console, the flat part at the very front with 3 hole in for switches......

Could you please post a picof what is supposed to be in the furthest right hole and what it does please?

I had 2 buttons in mine not connected to anything and they looked like they should not have been there...

I can post pics up tomorrow of mine if it helps to know which bit I am talking about..
