That f**king car of mine we wired up the Z32 ignitor now no wipers - indicators - washer pump. The auto sparky was with the car all day I arrived at 4.00pm to see the multi-meter fly over the hedge him getting into the van and driving off (I don't think he found the fault).

Hope he comes back tomorrow.
 
If its any comfort, my wipers move to the vertical position when I slam my drivers door. After a random period of time they then park themselves. The cure seam to be to not slam it quite so hard. Have you made up any drawings for the car wiring? It only takes one pore to cause all sorts of headaches. Good luck with it and see you at Castle Combe. "I've got no wipers, indicators, and washer pump" is not a good enough reason for not coming!
 
Dave I really wish you had better luck.

There are others on here who have got a Skyline engine working in an S30 - Darren, Wyn, Andy they must be able to help. You can't be far away now!
 
Found the problem the No1 coilpack was draining all the power from the rest of the car just have to find out that why ?.

I now have to find a new coilpack as this one has melted :(.

Every single part have been checked TWICE we have fuel to the rail, spark at the coilpacks & plugs it just does not want to fire up.

Just dont know were to go next with it.

It ran last year and started 1st time.
 
Is this starting to get close to you being a passenger with me to Japfest? Fingers crossed you get this nailed ASAP!
 
Dave if your certain your getting spark and the rail is getting presurised have you checked the injectors are getting power from the dropping resistor module. They should be the red and trace colour wires maybe the dropping resistor is not getting power.
Are you running the powerfc ecu?, if you are then check on your commander to see if the cas is working if its died you should see the rpm value showing 0 which would result in the injectors not firing. Feel free to call me if you want to bounce any ideas.

The chap from AC Speedtech is coming out on Wednesday next week and will bring his laptop with him to check out the powerfc that he put in the running in map and got it started last summer, I was working around the corner from his new workshop today and poped in to say hello he was building a RB30 with some tidy RIPS parts and had a R35 skyline in for a remap.

Yes plenty of fuel at the plugs it should RUN as of yesterday

All new wiring checked from ECU to all parts
Fuel to the rail
All coil packs checked and tested with spark at the plugs
Compression checked
All fuel pumps checked
All injectors checked & working
Spare ECU put on car to see if any difference

Tomorrow is another day.
 
Dave in this situation i would get one of those fine mist spray bottles with the trigger action, put a drop of petrol in it and spray into the air intake and crank over keep your hands clear just in case of blow back, obviously if it runs you have your answer if it dont maybe the spark is weak and is being quenched by compression, all this a bit crude on your spectacular engine build but there all suck squeeze bang blow
i am surprised that you have spark and wet plugs theres not even a glimmer of firing even through the exhaust or intake
