Is this anyone on here?

Saw the car yesterday at St Michaels but wasn't hanging around cos the weather was so poor....typical June day in the north west of England

thats mine!

hello there, yes its my car, my little lad and myself were having a drive out to look around but the weather was shocking and i didn't really think much of the show( probably because of the weather) I had posted some pictures of the engine rebuild I did last winter when i was still a club member, i need to join again, just got a little disheartened about the club so i didn't bother renewing my membership. if you have any news of anything going on in the northwest area i would love to hear from you, it would be nice to talk to like minded people who actually know what a datsun is and possibly meet up? cheers stuart

hey Chef

Hi Stuart,
How about using your local knowledge of the area for a 'Drive it Day' ending up at your pub? I could put the word out over here to see if anyone else is interested.

Hey Stuart, nice one, good to e-meet you :D

Yeah we were a bit disappointed too with the show, but like you say lots left I think due to the shocking weather.

As for the Northwest there is quite a bit going on over the next few weeks I am pleased to say. Have a look at these links...

Big meet in a fortnights time over three days so come on up loads going on all weekend, beer, band, buffet, etc and I have a feeling that the older Z's may be a little outnumbered by the newer models so I could do with some extra support from this site....;)

And like Ray said we can always do Sunday lunch at your place one weekend....:D

Love your wheels by the way, Enkeis...??

thanks nice to meet you too, yeah the wheels are great but it took me 20 years to get a full set( I've had my car for 23 years) bought 2 wheels after 3 years and then spotted 3 for sale a couple of years ago, it was a good find after that long:thumbs:.go on then who is it I speak to, to renew my membership, all the meets you sugested sound good, I'd like to join you at the leighton hall show, so if you're short and have a place free let me know it would be great, you're all also welcome at my place, we could have a nice drive and them come back for lunch, I'm sure I could arrange a good discount for any z-club members! cheers stuart

Chef, good to hear from you. Yes please rejoin as you can see there is lots going on in your area. I think it's a case of the more you attend the more you find/hear about.

Did you ever fit those 350Z seats?

Nice one Stuart, just PM me your name and address and I will get a pass sorted for you for Leighton Hall.

Good to see a bit more activity in this part of the world

Definately plenty going on in the North West this year. There will be regular meets and drives about once a month.
