Aj33sc jaguar v8SC in 280zx good or bad idea ?

Anyone have any thoughts on the v8sc out of a jaguar s type R in a 280zx. Ive been offered a engine and loom had a quick search and nothings come up.
Getting it runnings not a problem as i work for jaguar and did a lot of development work back in the day.
I will be using the v6diesel manual box.

Interesting swap. I was only looking at these engines yesterday. They do look a little wide. I preferred the Maserati option.

Plenty of room in the bay but what about the transmission tunnel? Not seen it done but would be interesting swap as John says. Is it worth doing tho? I guess why not if you got the bits, a solid body shell and know how.
