280z at auction

Hi,

I've talked myself out of it, but this auction ends this evening. Just wondering what people's thoughts (who have more experience with these cars than me) think about it.. just as a learning exercise for me.

It's obviously not completely original, and has some questionable 'mods'.

If memory serves the owner had it for sale for something near 20k? I don't think you'd see much change out of that if you tried to import one yourself revamped to the same standard.

Some of the badges have been screwed on. Is that standard?

Is the raised mdf/fibre board boot floor with the hinged access, standard on 280z? have certainly never noticed before if it is.

The MDF floor is standard on 1977 and 1978 280Z, I'm not sure about the earlier ones.
