260 2+2 on Ebay

LOL...........but the engine is there.....and so is the interior behind all that dust. If only it was BIG SAM !

Well, no bids and it obviously didn't reach its' reserve....so out of curiosity, how much would you (reasonably :) ) have paid for the car and how much would you have 'invested' in her to restore her ?

I'm not having a go...I'm wondering what you, and therefore others think of 2+2s ?

well its not worth a great deal is it good one's arnt worth loads. i paid just a bit above his start price for my 2+2 with 12months mot and a few months tax and drove it home:thumbs: and it was no basket ether

i remember a zclub member who had a mint 260 2+2 with about 12,000 miles on it in excellent original condition and i think he said he paid about £8,500 but i thought is was worth more after looking round it he then sold it and then tried to buy it back but the owner would not sell.if i had the money i would have brought it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
the main thing is a very good car is worth its weight in gold but with restoration projects it is hard to say as they are such an unknown once you start.

I think that's applicable to any Z - the price (alright, value) drops sharply between great cond. examples and mediocre cars.

Take Austin Healeys or 356s for example, I don't believe that there is so great a difference in values between concours and project cars.
