Fair play to you, but i am surprised you bothered - what did you really expect ? I've bought cars in that condition and broke them for spares !!

this is the car and I've spoken to the owner and know how to do it ! I reckon it would look best on a 2+2 chassis, also giving it more space - a nice straight US 280Z one would be cheap to buy !

Now that doesn't look too bad, I could live with one like that............from the front;)

It just looses all it's lines at the back, which I know is stating the obvious because how else would you make a convertible, but you know what I mean

 i aggree with you suzy the back end has to look right aswell as the front:devil:

this may be the reason they designed a removable top on the younger versions!:D :D :D

Sean,
That's more like it! nice pic's, decent looking 'Choptop'

the double round twin rear light's(ferrari type).

NO.
Most of these conversion's took place a few year's back when there were
plenty of Z's on the road. at present,if a Z's roof is too far gone than an option
maybe to chop the roof off,or even a vinal roof. Due to the weather,U.s Z
owner's would find it pheasable to do such conversion's.
Mr.G., I like the blue Z with a neat looking engine set up,& convertable
conversion.Admittedly the side skirt's & under bumper fibre glass need's to be
removed which is not a big issue, without those it would be great.
