    spring rates for 240z

From memory, when I was looking at using iron block chevy's, unless your 327 has ali heads/inlet manifold/water pump/exhaust manifolds etc and your battery is still under the bonnet you will still be 60-70lbs heavier on the front than the rear, even with the engine in the set back JTR position...

    Which one would it be?

Sorry:o! Not reading the instructions again. Ok, it have to be the orange one then.

    Which one would it be?

The grey one would be bloody scary on its stock brakes and that engine will, or may have already, twisted the chassis, especially as there does appear to be rust. The white one, oh my good white with blue/black interior, no thanks! The orange one does look mint but l don't 'do' standard so...

    best broadband !!!!!!!!

Not to specifically pick on anybody especially you twoforty, but right there in that quote is why the broadband speeds in this country are so bad. Shortsighted marketing numbskulls defining price-points that allow no further investments in the underlying networks for a customer base that wants...

    260, 280z .. Injection ?

I am speculating here but I would doubt that Nissan would have wanted to use the more expensive to produce 280Z in other markets as its creation was only due to the failure of the carb'd engine to safely meet Califonia's new emision limits and nowhere else in the world to my knowledge had those...

    What Job do you do?

Yes probably, thanks Sean!:p Well as Sean knows according to my wife I'm a bum kept in beer tokens by her!:D As far as I'm concerned, having gotten sick of the BS at VirginMedia I escaped, initially to do a loft, side and rear extension on my own house after having no joy finding a competent...

What didn't you know about your zed?

Similar to DD above, how a LS1 V8 with a huge 6 speed fits behind the front axle line with no changes to the chassis and body work! God that engine bay is huge!

    Engine choice

Hi Andy, no worries about not being in touch about the engine, shizer happens! I still have 1 of the 3 L28's I had left, if you are still interested. As I'm here, as far as your original question on this thread goes, I'd say neither engine, as they both have 2 cylinders missing;) Steve

    Build your own garage, ideas?

Having built my own garage, I can only suggest that you build it as big as you physically can. Once you have moved in, it will never be big enough:D:D!!! Just a thought on your layout, have you considered asking the owners of the private road whether they would grant you a right of access...

What happens with too much HP no grip!!

Rob, of course the driver was at fault and remains accountable, I did say he may have been able to recover the car in different circumstances suggesting preventability and therefore accountability. What I'm trying to explain above is that a number of factors can sometimes randomly coincide to...
