Maybe I am missing something but this is what I see.....
11/72 build date should be a 1973 model correct???
The door vin plate should say "passenger CAR" on a 11/72 build......my early vin plates 1971 etc say "passenger".....all of my 1972/ 1973 build vin plates say "passenger car". Could this be an early reproduction vin plate that has been re-stamped?
I would want to see the firewall vin and see if that falls in line with a 1972 or 1973 model year car and a 11/72 build date.
Looks like there is a metal plate on the shock tower, is the engine number matching the plate engine call out.
Seems like this might be a backdated 1973 car with flattops replaced to 72 carbs, air cleaner, bumpers etc.
Is there a electric fuel pump / mount near the rear diff which would indicate a 1973 model?
Just some questions I have without see the car in person.
