Plus the inevitable insurance restrictions and cost thereof for high value cars/assets, leading to less and less cars being driven on the public roads because owners are too scared to use them/leave them parked somewhere!
I have no insurance restrictions on mine, no fear of using public roads or track and I'd be more scared to leave a half-the-value Porsche parked up somewhere than the Z and probably even an MGBGT is likely to get nicked and broken down for parts than a Z.....they're rarer and we are a small world, especially now with FB and other social media - the word gets around quickly....have no fear - enjoy !
You're projecting certain peoples' reaction to a high value (and not the general Z population) but bear in mind that it's all relative - ALL classic car values are rising.
