In the last pic on the lower right of the pic you can see how they’ve clearanced the LD block to allow the rods to miss the sides. Only found this late in the day on my L28, the bolt heads catch the block if you go OTT on the stroke!I've started assembling it, after months of faffing about with tow hooks and differentials.
So far, its on the stand and I've got all the plugs in.
Some of the coolant holes blanked on the deck face. (as well as a bunch on the other side drilled)

There's more core plugs than on petrol blocks.

Ah yes, I've not noticed that. PS. Have you jet washed the block and all the galleries since doing all the internal clean up? I found casting grit and dust everywhere.
