Super Samuri on eBay

OK. So I'm no expert on samuri's but isn't triple Weber's the main part that makes them a samuri? If not then what exactly is it that sets them apart?

There were Samuris using 2'' Jag SUs, in my view better than triple 40s !

This was up for sale before - needs bodywork imho so well overpriced.

This has been discussed before last time it surfaced. Definitely overpriced given the obvious extensive bodywork needed. Filler bubbles and rust blisters all over the place in those pics. Definitely not a car to media blast unless you want to have an anxiety attack afterward!

But it’s on the register, so it must be....!!

if its not on there, does that mean its not?

Through the passage of time the myth is fading fast and we'll just get to the point where people can just enjoy them as as 240s/60 z's etc.

We should have a new section on here for your lovely new car.

Not necessarily, I just think the register is utter rubbish, there is at least one car one there that I know was never anywere near a Samuri workshop of any kind. The owner bought an old Z, painted it Rover nightfire red and bronze and stuck a set of webers on it, then he bumped into Mike Lee at one of the Donny events and hey presto its on the register - bullsh!t, sorry.

We should have a new section on here for your lovely new car.

Thanks, but its not a Z :D

Cheers,

JK

We could have another section for other 'Datsuns'..

I think rather than look for long lost cousins of the extended "Datsun" family, the focus should be on Zed siblings like the Z32,Z33, etc etc and how to get them on here.

Besides , judging by the posts over the last decade, I suspect there are less than half a dozen of forum members who own another 'Datsun' that is not a Zed.

Also one for samuris, one for cars on the register, one for cars not on the register and one for those going to be on it.

I suspect we will need to update our servers and forum platform to accommodate this volume of data:p:D
