That's the trouble, it's stressful having paint like glass (well I found it so ... )

If it gets covered in dust, do not be tempted just to wipe it off 'dry' - you'll scratch it just by looking at it ...

Best to get a few thousand miles on it - then it'll become easier to live with!

Looking great by the way. I'm using spray stiff for the vinyl for the main areas with the edges done using Evostik - brilliant stuff. Did my fastback headlining with it (and 150 bulldog clips) - wouldn't use anything else.

Thanks for the tip!

Was this a 918 match Mr T, or the new VW Mumbo Jumbo orange - can't remember the exact name and too lazy to go to the other thread!

I'm guessing maybe the former. Either way, it looks the dogs.

Thanks guys, yeah it's a 918 match. Looks different in every light.

918 like all paint shades can and does differ from one paint manufacturer to another.

Having been there trying to get the preferred shade of 918 (ie more orangey than terracotta..ey ) looks like you have done really well there Matt, looks great

That does look amazing. I couldn’t own that - too nerve wracking. Prob too much money too

Haha, money talks I’m sure. It does look amazing quality though

The car is looking stunning dude, when do you think you'll be getting her back and be able to crack on with the rebuild in anger?

Finally back home in the newly refurbed garage! Time to start the excruciatingly slow rebuild process.

I'm having some serious garage envy right now! Where are all the tools and parts though?

Glad you've finally got her back, looking forward to watching the rebuild progress.
