Broke the car again. This is becoming a habit. To
Propshaft let go this time. Got a lift home to pick up a spare from the workshop (over 200 mile trip!!!) and replaced it at Santa pod. Was going to have another run but thought better of it.
Is that you retiring from drag racing then?
I had a less exciting day. I went hunting in my rear suspension for the source of my hop-tastic drag starts. I found 2 candidates - rear brake cylinder failed and brake fluid everywhere inside the drum.
Also the damper doesn't at all. Someone here did say the KYB shocks wouldn't work with 200lb springs Are Tokico Illumina my only good option?
AVO are a local outfit, I'm going to see if they've got anything the right size.
Those brake cylinders are not easy to find in the states if they are the early type (series 1) but the series 2 are easy to get but still expensive. Good luck.
