what can i say

Didn't realise that there was a 'Datsun (Nissan) GB' prior to 1984? The present market seems awash with imports (mainly LHD). The old Bull Dog mind-set does seem to prevail and although there is nothing wrong with LHD it sits with most brits no easier than croissants at Wimbledon;). I would imagine equally that those in a 'leftie' country will appreciate the opposite. 'Vive la difference' :)

I beg your pardons, Datsun UK :https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octav_Botnar

You're missing the point quoting LHD cars in the UK market although quite right about rightie cars in leftie markets.....except icon Japanese cars and imported British cars ie Healeys, E-Types and MGBs.[/QUOTE]

No pardon begged Sean. Just said that I wasn't aware. So then Octav Botnar established Datsun UK in 1970. Seems he evaded more than £200 million in tax from his Swiss refuge. Hey-ho . Don't the Japanese drive on the same side as the UK?

New cars lose value, old cars gain - nothing surprising there - compare an SRL311 to a Z33 cabriolet !

............old cars gain - nothing surprising there .......

Rotten ones?

When that car was new it would be about £3k - it's now fetched 4 times that in a terrible state.

Wonder how long it will be before my 370Z in a rotten unroadworthy state sells on ebay for £130k.

I don't need an answer, I just think it's mad the way prices have gone.

Mad to think anyone would get £130k for a rotten ol' 370:D

Unless it's a Nismo track version and then again, in a few years time, they'll be selling 'em off cheap to be replaced with 100% electric versions......
